- Click on the Recurrence tab at the top of the Setup a Recurring Schedule screen. Click the Recurrence Pattern tool to view the current Recurrence Pattern.
- In the Range of Recurrence section at the bottom of the screen, click the End date button and populate the date the recurrence should stop (the last date that schedules will be generated).
- You will notice the Start date is a future date; if you are utilizing Option 2 to edit the recurrence you will need to adjust the Start date to a date that is before the End date you have populated. (Changing the Start date changes the point at which new schedules will be generated but will not remove any schedules before the new start date.)
- Click Save.
- Then click Save on the Setup a Recurring Schedule screen to save the Recurring Schedule/Master Schedule. A prompt will ask if you wish to reset the start date. If you have already manually set a start date above, select No. Otherwise you will probably want to select Yes to reset the start date. (Note: If you are utilizing Option 1, the start date for the changes you are making will be the date of the schedule you were on in the calendar. If you are utilizing Option 2, the start date would reset to the first date of the recurrence, so you will want to manually adjust the start date of the pattern to be the date you want the changes to start taking effect).
- The system will indicate how many schedules were created. A prompt asks if you wish to check for errors with the recurrence and a screen advise if there are any isolated schedules.
No schedules will be created past the end date of the recurrence; any existing schedules beyond the new end date of the recurrence will be removed, unless they already have actual hours.
