How Names are Parsed When Entering New People
When a new person is entered, the system scans the entered name to determine its parts in order to format it properly.
The entered text is compared to the Title and Suffix master lists to see if a recognized Title or Suffix has been entered. If a match is found, that Title or Suffix is selected in the new person's name.
The last name will simply be the last word (separated by spaces) that isn't a suffix.
If there is a single letter before the last name, that will go in the middle initial field, otherwise everything else will be considered the first name.
NOTE: When adding an organization, the display name is just the name as entered and the other fields (Title, Firstname, Middle Initial, Lastname and Suffix) are not populated.
