Burdens Settings

Payroll Burdens represent additional fixed or incremental costs for your caregivers. (eg. payroll taxes, employee benefits and other costs) Burdens are not actually calculated in the Payroll Module, but can be forecasted and included in various analysis grids and caregiver Quick Pick scoring to forecast total costing and profit for your scheduling.

Burdens setup is found in the Agency Office Module, Home Tab under the Settings tool.

You can apply a simple burdens percentage that applies to all payroll hours (Payroll Burdens %) as well as additional fixed and/or variable burdens under the Office and Payroll Costs list.

These burden costs can be applied when the caregiver's total payroll amount for the year falls in to a particular range, and can be a Fixed Cost (single dollar amount applied once for the range) or a Percentage of total payroll.
