Incidents
Incidents may be used to track formal warnings or disciplinary actions taken with your employees. Incidents are similar to Documented Events, but due to the potentially sensitive nature of the contents, Incidents are only accessible within the Human Resources tab in the Relationships Management Module.
To view or add Incidents for your employees (Caregivers or Office Staff), open the Human Resources tab, select the appropriate person in the Find Area and click on the Incidents tool under the Documentation drop down menu on the ribbon.
Then click Add on the toolbar to add a new Incident.
After an Incident has been created, Reports can be generated that include Employee and Supervisor signature lines so that a hard copy can be signed and filed as part of an employee's permanent record.
Field Name | Description |
---|---|
Category | A category to describe the incident. |
Type | Type of Incident or disciplinary action. For example: First Warning, Second Warning, etc. |
Date | When this incident or disciplinary action occurred. |
Incident Summary | Summary information describing the incident that occurred. |
Details and follow up | Add notes further detailing related information or follow up actions to the incident. |
Attach People | Indicate any other people that may have been involved in the incident being described. |
