How Scores are Calculated/Types of Scoring Items
Standard scoring items give the specified amount of points if the caregiver matches (or does not match) the scoring criteria. These scoring items assign a fixed amount of points to each caregiver.
Multiplier scoring items however assign multiply the scoring points against the criteria being evaluated - for example, the "Distance Before" scoring item multiplies the points by the distance in miles from the caregiver's location previous to the schedule; i.e. the scoring is a points per mile basis.
Percentage Multiplier scoring items assign the scoring points per percentage point of a partial or complete match of multiple items - for example, when evaluating a match on the "Non Critical Skills" scoring item, if the client's Authorization/Care Plan calls for four different skills, and the caregiver is a match on three of them, this would be a 75% match and the scoring points would be multiplied accordingly.
Configuring Scoring Points
To adjust the set of caregivers returned by the Quick Pick feature, the Quick Pick scoring options are configurable in the the User Defined Information Module. The master list is found under the ", using the Caregiver Quick Pick Scores tool under the With Support's Advice" menu that is found in the Quick Access tools above the main menu and tabs drop-down menu.
