The "Quick Pick" works as an advanced version of Caregiver suggestion. The screen layout is quite similar, and the same options to add Caregivers and "Pending" and send them the schedule via SMS text or email are in the Quick Pick and Caregiver Suggestion screens. Caregivers are ranked in the results by a scoring system that assigns points for matching various criteria in order to list the "best match" for the client/schedule first.
The primary advantages of the Quick Pick is that all of the possible scoring criteria can be customized to adjust the amount of scoring points given or enable them entirely. Additionally all distance and travel information is calculated automatically within the grid without requiring an extra calculation step.
The HomeTrak Mobile apps also use the Quick Pick scoring options to provide "Caregiver Suggestion" features on schedules in the app.
Adjusting Quick Pick Scoring Options
To adjust the set of caregivers returned by the Quick Pick feature, the Quick Pick scoring options are configurable in the User Defined Information Module. The master list is found under the "With Support's Advice" menu that is found in the Quick Access tools above the main menu and tabs.
The text fields on this screen are read-only and informational.
Adjust the "Calculate" and "Critical" check box options and the points values to customize the scoring option.

If scoring points are zero, then nothing will be added to the tooltip list when matching this condition.
Use this ability to assign different points for "Having" or "Not Having" the scoring criteria, or to only assign points in either the positive or negative case and not both.
"Multiplier" type scoring items may only be assigned points based on "Having" something, as the points are multiplied by the total amount of the thing you're scoring on. e.g. -0.01 points per mile for the "Distance Before" scoring item.
