Availability
The Availability feature allows you to record when your employers are available to receive service, or your employees are available to work. When scheduling an Employer or Participant who is not available warnings can be generated on the schedule.
The Availability tool is found under the "Scheduling" drop down menu on the ribbon for Employers, Participants and Office Staff in the Relationship Management Module.
Use the panels on the right of the screen to record availability. Click on the Add tool to add new Availability rules. Click Edit to change an existing rule. Click Save
to see the rules in the Availability grid.
Types of Availability:
Working Days | Record the days of the week the Participant is available to work. Example: If a Participant never wants to work on the weekend, you would choose Saturday and Sunday to NOT be workdays. |
Day Specific Availability | Record the time of day the Participant is available to work. Example: Every Tuesday, the Participant is only available from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Note: Day Specific Availability takes precedence over Working Days. |
Date Specific Availability | Record when a Participant is available on a specific date. Example: On May 1, the Participant is only available from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Note: Date Specific Availability takes precedence over Day Specific Availability. |
You can also highlight blocks of time in the calendar and use the context menu (right click on the selected block) to set Date-Specific availability.
