A Case Note is any type of event you need to record and report on. Case Notes can play two roles:
- for documenting significant events (good or bad) involving Employers and/or Participants, and
- as a marketing tool to document the minutes of a meeting or conversation with referral sources.
A Case Note will appear in the profiles of all parties involved. You can run robust reports on case notes.

Important fields to use when creating a Case Note:

Category | Choose the appropriate category when creating case notes to ensure accurate data measurements in your Case Notes reports. (The Case Notes report can be sorted by Category.) |
Who else was involved? | Add all parties involved in this event so the case note will appear in their profile(s). |
 Notes | If you need to provide more detail about this case note than the explanation field allows, add a Note. Notes are date- and time-stamped. |
