In many areas of HomeTrak Companion you can use the Edit All function to edit information on the items displayed in the Main Display Portion of the screen. The Edit All tool always appears with the Quick Add tool and is intended to provide a way to easily edit the details for a large group of items that have been multi-added. It can also be used to edit existing items.

If you see a dropdown arrow on the Edit button, then you may use the Edit All function to edit each item.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Click on the Edit button on the toolbar and select Edit All from the drop down menu.

  2. The first item displayed in the Main Display Portion of the screen will open for editing; make any necessary changes for the item.

  3. Click Save and the next item displayed in the Main Display Portion of the screen will open for editing.
  4. Continue to click Save to move through the list of items in the Main Display portion of the screen, editing information where needed. 
  5. Click Cancel at any point, to end the Edit All function and return to the Main Display portion of the screen.
