v6.3.7.4 (Service Release)

  • Fixed an issue with grids loading properly in the Finance/Billing/Payroll modules.
  • Editing a grid row via double-click would always refresh the grid even if the grid refresh option was turned off.

v6.3.7.3 (Service Release)

  • Updated Live Support help link.
  • When archiving a Saved Report, the Saved Report now includes the filter date range in the description.
  • The notification pop-up for recent missed clock-ins was broken. Also fixed an old bug with the grid of schedules disappearing.
  • Fixed an issue with the default status changing when adding several new people right after each other, particularly for Office Staff.
  • Added “Effective Date” to Custom Form entry.

v6.3.7.1 (Service Release)

  • Hardcode date/time format for grid exports to Excel to “MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm AM/PM”, as version 6.3.0+ was exporting the time portion as 24 hour time.
  • Fixed an issue with an incorrect “You do not manage xx” security message coming up in some cases when adding a Documented Event to a schedule. (Security check happening on the wrong database ID.)
  • Fixed an error related to refreshing grids on screen that could in rare cases occur when finishing running a Recipe for Billing/Payroll

  • Updated “Identity” login screen.
  • Better detection and transition between login methods; more seamless for users upgrading from an older version that didn’t support “Identity”.
  • Today’s Notices list on the Main Module Home Page wasn’t refreshing properly.
  • Fixed some grid layout loading errors when using advanced additional columns

v6.3.6 (Service Release)

  • EZClaim Premier export can now fill in multiple Modifier codes on the exported claim. (Up to 4 modifier columns.) To set up on the call type, enter the multiple modifiers separated by a space in the “Modifier” field on the Call Type interface under the EZClaim Interface setup.
  • Performance improvements to EZClaim Premier export.
  • Export to EZClaim Advanced wasn’t actually including more than one diagnosis code in the proper code fields on the exported claim.
  • Couldn’t export an Office Staff to QuickBooks Employee through the Search/Add screen via directly editing the External ID. 
  • Sync Calendar to Outlook fails when syncing back an event from Outlook that has single quote (‘) characters in the subject or content.
  • Fixed an issue in Billing and Payroll where a record that had been edited could cause Overtime to be incorrect if additional records were later processed into the same week for that caregiver.
  • Fixed a performance issue with calculating billing/payroll where the program was asking the database for the same information multiple times.
  • Hover tooltip on Authorization field on Schedule sometimes showed the wrong information.
  • Eliminated unnecessary extra messages when bulk creating  “Identity” user accounts from Agency Office.
  • Exporting an invoice to QuickBooks Online wasn’t setting the email field on the invoice.
  • Creating a new E-TimeCard from a schedule wasn’t using the full schedule information to create the TimeCard.
  • Improvements to importing grid layouts from the cloud Template database

v6.3.5 (Service Release)

  • Fixed a couple of issues with properly selecting events on the “Classic” calendar style when right-clicking on them to open the context menu.
  • Updated Franchise data export

  • Updated color themes.
  • Fixed an issue with saving Favorite tools in the Client tab of the Relationship Management Module.
  • Fixed a performance issue with loading lists of over 1000 items in the contents.

  • Fixed an issue with On-Screen Notices no longer displaying after clicking on the notification pop-up to view the notices.
  • Fixed a case with sending out reports by email to individual people where in a very rare case the attachment of the report to the email could fail.
  • Increased maximum values on some hidden fields on the Invoice that could cause validation errors if you edited the invoice (i.e. to change the Invoice number) and the invoice amount was over $10,000.
  • Fixed a screen issue that could cause the ribbon to disappear and be replaced by a “giant red X”.

v6.3.1 (Service Release)

  • “Support” link from main module now opens in default system web browser instead of an embedded window.
  • Updated color Themes.
  • Fixed an issue with the grid checkbox displaying by default in specific situations in Calculated Billing or Payroll.
  • Using an “Identity” username to attempt to log in from the old log in screen will be identified and automatically switch the system into using Identity to log in.
  • Posting records via a Recipe only used the batch end date to set the post/invoice dates, regardless of the option selected in the Recipe setup.

Enhancements

  • General User Interface updates:
    • Many options on toolbars other than the basic Add/Edit/Delete are grouped into “Actions” dropdown tool to better group various options.
    • Removed “Search” box from list view toolbars.
    • New consolidated “Finance” module to replace and combine Billing and Payroll functions. (New installs or by request only.)
  • Billing/Payroll:
    • Ability to edit and change the Invoice Number on an existing Invoice.
    • Ability to edit a billing record and actually move it to another existing invoice for the same Payer.
    • QuickBooks Online Export (Billing): New option to update customer demographic (name/address/contact) information during invoice export.
    • Running Billing/Payroll via Recipe now has the option to select the starting (Billing) Invoice number for the set.
  • Telephony and E-TimeCards:
    • Streamlined Telephony (E-TimeCards) Module interface, with ribbon tools moved into the toolbar “Actions” menu.
    • Performance improvements on manually adding E-TimeCards.
    • Removed “Invalid Call Types” from Telephony fixing steps; most offices don’t use call types in Telephony and these can still be handled in “Completed with Errors” or “Remaining Calls” after fixing Client/Caregiver information
  • Calendars and Scheduling:
    • “Create Non-Visit Schedule” option also added to context menu on Office Staff calendar.
    • “Print Big Picture Report” options also added to toolbar on Office Staff calendar.
    • New option in the Calendar to show/hide Documented Events directly on the calendar view.
    • Ability to set an override on Event Reminders to send to a specific cell phone. (e.g. Send notifications to someone else of a person’s events.)

    • When editing Call Types (Services) in User Defined you can now specify multiple additional qualifications that can perform this qualification.
    • Sync to Outlook Calendar no longer syncs back any changes to Schedules in Companion. Only changes to Tasks and Appointments will now sync back to Companion from Outlook.
  • Scenarios:
    • Added “All Organizations” and “Orphaned Organizations” scenarios in the “All People” tab in the Relationships Module. This tab is also now renamed to simply “All”.
    • Added “Caregivers and Office Staff” scenario in Actual Hours tab.
    • Added advanced Schedule filtering options (i.e. Date Range/Call Types/Attributes/Status) to the Actual Hours tab. (These options were always available on the Schedule Review and Finalize tabs, but not in Actual Hours.)
  • Grids and Reports
    • Daily Review Report improvements:
      • Performance improvements
      • Separate sub totals by Call Type (Service) Status (e.g. Active vs. Unavailable) in the Summary of Scheduled Hours section. Also show totals for Scheduled, Actual, Billable and Payable hours.
      • Daily Review Report now also includes sub-section for new Client Inquiries and Caregiver/Office Staff Applications.
      • Status section now includes new statuses added to all types of people/organizations (was only Client, Caregiver and Office Staff).
      • Report now properly handles Name Format override.
    • Instruction card report for IVR Telephony.
    • Caregiver Tasks Performed and Verification Report now shows both Client and Caregiver signatures. 
    • On the Automated Report setup screen, the “Who will receive this report” has been re-captioned “People to receive a full copy of the report” for better indication of what this does, and the selection of people here is now limited to only Office Staff.
    • Launching the Caregiver Master Report from the Main Module Reports menu wasn’t opening the Reporting Module.
  • Added a check when adding a cloud user account to a new office staff person to try and make sure that the office staff gets the proper username equal to their username and not with an “_2” etc. on the end when they’ve already existed as a different type of relationship in the system. 

Bug Fixes

  • General UI:
    • Fixed an issue with the program remembering whether the checkbox column is turned on for a grid when switching between different tabs/grids. 
    • Fixed a display issue when re-editing the same Date-Specific Availability record after making it “Not a Work Day”.
    • Fixed a row selection issue with data grids where if you clicked directly on the checkbox in a new row it wouldn’t actually select that row even though visually it appeared to.
    • Fixed an issue with toggling the “Show schedules that do not have” option when filtering on Attributes in Schedule Review grids.
    • Fixed an issue with the date filter displaying in the first tab when loading “Favourite” tabs in the Reporting Module.
    • Main Module “My Calendar” preferences weren’t saving properly.
  • Grids and Reports:
    • Early/Late Arrival Time report showed the wrong text label for the Total line for each section when grouping the report by Date.
    • Client Time Sheet report was excluding schedules missing a caregiver.
    • Valid date ranges of Duties to Perform weren’t taken into effect on the Time Sheet Reports.
    • “Generate Report” for Appointment, Task, Documented Events categories was throwing an error.
    • Daily Review Report:
      • Required Dates section(s) were including Inactive people.
      • Required Dates section(s) now only shows expired dates against the correct relationship where they were added, where the same person exists in multiple places (e.g. both a Caregiver and an Office Staff)
  • Billing & Payroll Exports:
    • Fixed a rounding issue with the QuickBooks Online Billing export that could cause an invoice to fail to export.
    • When exporting Billing to EZClaim, when hours are exported as multiple units it was also applying this multiplier to the number of units for any extra charges. (As amounts and units are exported separately to EZClaim without a rate, all invoice/claim totals would still be correct.)
    • Fixed a minor issue with validating the QuickBooks export, where the validation would still require an External ID attached to the third party payer even if you used the QuickBooks ID override on the possible payer link to the client.
    • When hours and units (extra charges) are grouped together during an EZClaim export, only the hours were being reported in the total “units” in EZClaim.
    • Regular and Overtime records are no longer grouped separately in the EZClaim billing export. (Not that OT is ever used in Medicaid billing but it was technically wrong...)
    • The selection of a QB Payroll Service Item on the Travel Time extra charge type (User Defined master list) did not have any effect and exporting payroll time data was just linking to the first matching rate it found.
    • Fixed an issue with exporting the Date of Birth to Quickbooks during update of customer or employee demographic data during billing/payroll export. 
  • Fixed an issue with commas in the Responsible Party’s name causing columns to be shifted in the Home Care Pulse initial email.
  • Import from Template database wasn’t working for Relationship (e.g. Client, Caregiver, etc.) and Event (e.g. Task, Appointment, etc.) categories in User Defined.
  • Additional fix to Import button in User Defined Information to handle infrastructure update.
  • “Hide Negative Scores” button on Quick Pick screen wasn’t working right.
